Michael + Lucy ~ Cape May NJ mini styled shoot

Michael and Lucy had the most gorgeous wedding this past July in California, but generously agreed to dress up again so I could get some shots on the beach that I've always wanted! We went to Cape May, NJ on a crisp but gorgeous night and found a spot that actually looked much more like the Pacific coast (YAY!) than the Jersey shore!

I am so grateful for all the people that made my vision come alive for this shoot: Martha DiCamillo - bridal bouquet & boutonnière, Alexis DiCamillo - makeup & flower crown, Bianca DiCamillo - flower errands & prep, Annie Baranik - 2nd shooter & on-site comedian ;).

Nick + Brenna ~ Duportail House Wedding Photographer

When I got together with Nick & Brenna a few months before their wedding, they told me that they were getting married outside and that there wasn't really a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. So, I crossed my fingers and watched the weather forecast eagerly for 2 weeks leading up to their wedding...and we literally couldn't have gotten a more perfectly sunny-and-60's fall day! Whew!!!

Some of my favorite memories from this day were:

1) Nick constantly rubbing Brenna's arms because he was so worried she was cold (so sweet),

2) the CHEESE cake (not "cheesecake...but cheese cake...you'll see the picture! ;), and

3) the DANCING!!! (the DJ killed it, seriously...it was all I could do not to party with everyone!).

Thanks, Nick & Brenna for inviting me to be a part of this amazing day!

Here are some of the wonderful vendors that made this day great ~ Venue: Duportail House // Floral Design: Belovely Floral & Event Design // DJ: J. Entertainment // Ceremony Musicians: AVIVA Strings // Makeup Artist: Sarah Paira Beauty // 2nd Photographer: Christina Gann

A Mini Fall Styled Shoot ~ Valley Forge National Park Wedding Photography

I went for a walk with a friend at Valley Forge National Historical Park about 2 months ago and couldn't help but imagine a bride & groom in the golden fields, with the trees in all their fall-colored glory, as the sun set over the hills. I had never done a "styled shoot" before so didn't really think of putting one together. A few weeks went by and I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing this vision would look in photographs, so I asked this wonderful couple who got married last year, if they would pull out their wedding attire for me and make my dreams come true. They not only killed it with modeling for me, but they looked like it was their actual wedding day...so much laughter and un-prompted kisses!

Many thanks Kat at From Blossoms for the beautiful flowers...she went above and beyond what I had imagined and they couldn't have been more perfect!

I had the hardest time picking and choosing which ones to share...it's a good problem to have (but actually stressful, whew!). Here's what I came up with...Enjoy!
